Poor bowel movement can be another cause for hemorrhoids.

Processed food: – Avoid consuming processed food. It has been found that hemorrhoids cases are mostly in developed countries because people consume processed food. Processed food lack fibrous component, so eat fresh food and prefer vegetarian food. Few others: – Constipation, pregnancy, and obesity can be some other causes of hemorrhoids. Few people have got a belief that hemorrhoids may develop into cancer. Well, hemorrhoids do not develop into cancer but both can cause bleeding from rectal veins. One of the leading causes of hemorrhoids is constipation, and this can be easily avoided by making sure that you are drinking plenty of water and consuming enough fiber in your diet.

This simple step can go a long way in curing your hemorrhoids. Keeping physically active is another thing that can help get rid of hemorrhoids. Many people don  realize that sitting for long periods of time can make them worse because it puts a lot of pressure on the blood vessels of the rectal area where hemorrhoids form. If your hemorrhoids are external you can also try applying something directly to them. Rectal bleeding might be an indication that the individual is suffering from other health conditions which require immediate attention. Signs of infection:  If drainage comes from the anorectal region or if the individual suspects that he or she has developed an abscess or infection, it will be necessary to see a doctor to get antibiotics prescribed.  This issue should not go ignored as the area can become extremely infected and even gangrenous.
